MAS Recruiting is a retained search firm that specializes in assisting candidates to secure employment in such industry verticals as technology, software, alternative energy, chemicals, and financial services. We service companies ranging from early stage startups to Fortune 100.

Our client is a large governmental agency who has the IMMEDIATE NEED for several experienced Windows Network Engineers (positions are full-time). These positions will operate in a large scale Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 network and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server environment.
Minimum Requirements:
**3+ years knowledge of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server in a large-scale network environment. Knowledge must be specific to:

Multi-domain models and trusts
DNS, WINS, DHCP, and host configurations
Active Directory management and troubleshooting
RPC troubleshooting
NT connectivity troubleshooting in a firewall/proxy server environment
Backup and recovery techniques
**3+ years knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 in a large-scale network environment. Knowledge must be specific to:

Exchange database troubleshooting, maintenance, and compression
Global Directory List management across an enterprise
Email trafficflow troubleshooting across a complex environment involving Exchange, Software. com Intermail, Groupwise, and Notes environments
Exchange Internet Message Services, Site Connectors, and replication
Implementing and managing IP-based load balancers
Hardware and software support for Windows NT/2000 server, UNIX hosts, Cisco routers, switches, CSU/DSUs, and communication circuits
**1 year experience in the following areas:

Wide area network design, implementation, and management in a large-scale enterprise environment
Troubleshooting network connectivity problems, problem determination/tracing, and systems monitoring (Cisco preferred)
**2+ years experience in the following areas:

Enterprise Class web hosting environment
Multiple web platform experience
Knowledge and problem solving in Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SQL required
**3+ years experience with network management software tools and agents

**Expert-level knowledge of Domain Name Services (DNS) in a large-scale enterprise environment. (knowledge must be specific to Unix-based DNS services and the relationship to WINS, DHCP, hosts files, load-balancing, and troubleshooting)

**2+ years experience maintaining servers and troubleshooting (Windows NT/2000), providing e-mail administration and troubleshooting servers (Exchange 5.5/2000) including:

Addition/deletion/cleanup of email accounts/IDs
Creation and executive of a file backup and recovery plans
Creation and execution of database backup and recovery plans
Operations documentation including startup/shutdown, backup, and recovery procedures
