Experience handling difficult callers, customers and patients. Basic knowledge of managed care and commercial insurance. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and billing and coding practices.Job Description:To provide efficient and quality work, excellent customer service and physician and practice support through a variety of office duties. To maximize practice revenues by following appointed hospital policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: appointment scheduling, appointment registration, review of encounter forms for compliancy and accuracy, billing cycle functions, medical records, filing duties and other prescribed projects.
