Job Responsibilities : The Summer Intern works under fairly close supervision, with work verified on a regular basis. Most tasks have predetermined procedures and is assigned to specific practice areas; this position is in the Environmental section. He or she is directly supervised by the Partner in the section and the Office Administrator. Performs basic data entry. Types using standardized formats. Operates calculator or video display terminal. Operates photocopying machine. Maintains simple office filing/records system. Processes repetitive documents in accordance with established procedures. Records data of a standardized nature. Assists with trial preparation.

Job Requirements : Typing skills of 45 w. p. m. with above average spelling skills. Must possess good organizational skills. Must be able to follow instructions and take guidance from attorneys and/or secretaries. Must be very detail oriented, and in some cases, somewhat flexible on working extended hours when necessary. High school diploma or equivalent required.
