In addition, the AVP may supervise administrative positions in the Office of the Vice President and substitute for the VP when needed. Over the course of the year, the AVP is responsible for monitoring expenditures and continually revising forecasts for year-and campaign-end progress. The AVP will provide guidance, mentorship and oversight to development professionals. In that capacity, the AVP is responsible for helping them establish and achieve aggressive financial and visit goals annually. Working with the Executive Director, the Director, and the Associate Director of Development, the AVP is the key administrator for weekly Prospect Strategy Meetings involving all of CCNYs major gifts staff.ResponsibilitiesThe AVP will:. Participate as a full member of the senior development team contributing to overall unit planning and providing fund-raising counsel to senior leadership within the schools/units;. Help build a greater awareness of the importance of private philanthropy among campus constituencies and external partners;. Assist the Vice President in building a foundation for substantive and enduring growth in private support for the schools/units.
