Out client is a premier contractor in the mining industry with over 45 years in business.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Set up projects from its initiation and maintain good relations with clients
2) Oversee designing, construction and post-construction phase activities
3) Manage staff and the Contractor to ensure the project scope (as awarded) is built in full conformance with plans, specs, schedule as well as cost limits
4) Perform day-to-day contract administration
5) Assist Regional Project/Senior Project Manager in bid analysis, awarding, coordinating pre-construction conferences, reviewing of Contractor’s initial construction schedule, schedule of values, submittals, etc.
6) Perform other construction management functions (as assigned by the management)

Job Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 25 years of experience in a mining environment
3) Experience in EPC/EPCM
4) Experience in working with clients
5) Ability to determine project requirements and manage projects from initiation to closure
6) Experience in managing and coaching people with diverse backgrounds
7) Knowledge of Primavera, P6/MS software
8) Individual who is motivated and a self-starter with experience in mentoring project staff while ensuring that focus is maintained on project goals and objectives
