Job Responsibilities and Requirements : Participate in all phases of development life cycle methodologies including rapid development tactics as well as software development life cycle. Perform in a team to engineer end-to-end solutions. Analyze functional requirements and create technical specifications to meet those requirements. Analyze functional requirements and create prototypes. Develop and code new product applications and new features. Prepare and execute unit, integration and system testing for new features. Investigate, prepare, and implement engineering changes and maintenance. Organize work to meet objectives, requirements and schedules on time and within budget. Provide project/task tracking and reporting of project statuses using the selected tracking tool, and provide verbal report in development team meetings. Conduct and participate in code reviews. Provide technical expertise for all aspects of product development and engineering support to department/team members, build/install engineers and other departments (QA/Technical Support/Professional Services/Customers) Participate in preparing and presenting product and technical training to internal technical and non-technical teams. Participate in preparing and reviewing product and technical documentation. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. A minimum of five (5) years software development and/or programming experience. Experience/training in best practices for software engineering, object oriented programming, and low-level design. Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative approaches to problem resolution must be comfortable troubleshooting in Windows environments. Experience/training with SQL and databases, ODBC/JBDC, preferably SQL Server or Sybase. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Ability to perform projects of highest complexity. Time management skills with attention to deadlines and details. Ability to effectively coordinate activities, handle multiple and competing priorities in a fast pace environment.
