Summary:

We are looking for a diligent, responsible, and effective a Game QA / Tester with experience testing online games. You should have exceptional communication and organization skills, be comfortable working in a small team, fast pace environment, and can demonstrate that you are a self managing go getter.

Responsibilities:
• Play our games like it's your job (oh wait...)
• Work with individuals across all disciplines to test new features and content
• Create test plans, test cases and execute manual test
• Document and communicate test coverage, bugs, and risks
• Isolate, document, and manage software bugs through to resolution, ensure exceptional product quality while not blocking releases
• Contribute to test automation

Requirement:

• Passion for making high quality games that maximize the value of a business
• Avid player of online games, intimate familiarity with Ravenwood Fair -
• 1-3 years of experience in dev testing and game play testing of web based games such as MMO/Facebook games (will consider exceptional candidates from the traditional gaming space as well)
• Strong attention to detail, take perverse pleasure in finding bugs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with designers, engineers, artists, etc. to drive resolutions
• Familiarity with bug tracking and source control software
• Comfortable working in an environment where ideas are thought of, described, and executed within a span of hours to days
• Accountable: When someone sends you an email about something it auto-magically gets handled with no need for a follow-up.
• BS in Technical / Game Development Degree or equivalent experience


Desired Qualifications but not required:

• Ability to read and understand codes to contribute to automated testing initiatives
