Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This Position is intended to be on-site working with one or more customers but due to customer locations and needs may require up to 50% availability to travel. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. MCITP, MCSE, or other applicable advanced certification is strongly preferred, but not required at hire. We will consider related field (or equivalent) experience. Premier Field Engineers (PFEs) provide Microsoft customers with reliable technical solutions to the complex integration problems associated with business solutions built using Microsoft SharePoint products. Typical tasks performed in this role include specific problem isolation and correction, conducting application design and technical reviews, performance tuning, application stability consulting/troubleshooting, porting/migration assistance, configuration/administration management, pre-rollout testing and general IT best practices around operations and infrastructure engineering.
