REQUIREMENTS:
-Government security clearance of at least a SECRET level.
-Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Applied Information Technology, or Computer Science required.
-Experience with Linux/UNIX a must.
-Adept in Java programming language required.
-Knowledgeable with Linux OS required.
-General computer knowledge including TCP/IP networking required.
-Great written and verbal communication skills required.
-Past experience in a call center environment is required.
-Familiarity with Jython or other scripting languages is a plus.
-Familiarity with web-based man-machine interface standard practices is a plus.
-Address and resolve routine issues assigned for engineering support.
-Clearly define and resolve problems needing further investigation.
-Maintain and on-call rotation, able to address problems remotely and in a timely manner, working off hours and support occasional on-call shifts.
-Provide customer support, configuration, and implementation, troubleshooting, and following installation procedures.
-Execute configuration processes.
-Assess and resolve network, data, and customer’s needs as they arise.
-Interact with other departments to provide information and assistance as necessary.
-Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
-Public speaking experience to clearly and concisely present the product’s features and benefits.
-Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco devices and commands.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Applied Information Technology, or Computer Science required.
-4 - 8 years’ experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer based systems.
-Direct interaction with external customers representing the company as the technical lead in projects.
-Design, develop, and deploy new project installations.
-Work closely with other software consultants to develop operational efficiencies.
-Assist Sr. Software Developers with requirements gathering, designing, developing, and testing.
-Provide live product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
-Knowledge of Satellite Communications a plus.
-Working knowledge of a Network Operating Center a plus.
