The General Maintenance Technician/Pipe fitter, will install and inspect pipes of various materials (stainless steel, glass, iron, steel, aluminum, synthetic materials, copper) and maintain integrity of pipe & piping components. Perform some small fabrication jobs; Other general maintenance duties as required (maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot equipment - pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, boilers, molding machines, other industrial production equipment and facility physical structures within the plant). This is a 9 to 12 month contract position hired through a local agency with work assigned to Galata Chemicals.
