JOB SUMMARY:
Develop objectives, policies and programs of sales activities for assigned accounts and new business development, as approved by the VP of Retail Sales.
Develop support for class ring and family jewelry concepts in existing accounts at Buyer and Executive level for assigned accounts.
Work closely with all departments to strategize, develop and expand sales for the Retail Division.
Research, test and secure new distribution channel segments appropriate for core product lines.
Manage the activities required to achieve stated goals.
Maintain and consistently improve the penetration and competitive position of assigned product lines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
SALES MANAGEMENT
Create an Annual Sales Plan by channel, key customer and new business opportunities in order to maximize sales profitability and growth for assigned product lines.
Develop annual distribution strategic plan, including distribution research and new account/distribution channel analysis.
Collaborate on business profitability models for new business programs and products.
Develop and understand relationship with key accounts to facilitate support for company products and concepts.
Periodic store visits to monitor program implementations and examine POS, training and display opportunities.
Develop strong, synergistic working relationship work with other functional teams to develop required support materials for accounts, pricing and promotion strategies, online outreach, and product expansion.
Participate in the development of new products, programs or services to increase market share for responsible product lines.
Provide relevant account and market feedback to increase effectiveness of programs and products.
Develop processes to evaluate account satisfaction to respond more effectively to accounts’ sales needs.
Provide quarterly business reviews for all assigned accounts.
Exceed annual revenue goals.
Facilitate budgeting process and maintain expense budget within guidelines.
Provide evaluation of sales results monthly.
Prepare presentations and present at internal meetings.
Collaborate with internal staff on e-commerce strategy.
Work directly with accounts to facilitate the building of the websites and travel to home offices as necessary to meet with their e-commerce teams.
Travel required-- minimum of 40% of time.

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Develop semi-annual sales plans to implement promotional, new business and other marketing activities to maximize sales profitability and growth for assigned accounts.
Assure receipt of market & customer intelligence and distribution to interested departments.
Leverage and support customers online initiatives.
Conduct follow-up service calls to accounts to ensure satisfaction with products and promotions, including phone and in-person visits.
Regularly communicate market trends to management, marketing and product development.
Examine and notify Company of competitive products, promotional sales, selling techniques, pricing, warranties and marketing policies.
Maintain accurate and current account contact and activity records through CRM.
Evaluate performance results on both accounts and specific activities.
Submit weekly activity and expense reports.
Provide quarterly results report.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree with 10+ years of sales management experience.
