As an Internal Wholesaler, you will play a critical role on the Internal Sales and Support team focusing on developing and maintaining relationships, in partnership with the external wholesaler, with existing financial advisers in order to sell my clients products, which include mutual funds and annuities.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing financial advisers in order to sell company products, as well as identify new sales opportunities within their territory to meet sales goals.
Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by making proactive phone calls to financial advisers to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data and offer sales support.
Deliver effective presentations to promote the company's products, services and competitive advantages.
Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy with the external wholesaler.
Paid training is provided to develop and enhance industry and product and knowledge in order to effectively communicate and build credibility with financial advisers.
*2+ years of sales/marketing experience in the financial services industry.
*Knowledge of investment management or financial industry desired.
*FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required.
*Team player with strong interpersonal communication and sales skills that can thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment.
*Demonstrates high level of time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with integrity and ownership of work.
*Bachelor's degree preferred.
