Vice President-Financial Reporting
*Bachelorís degree in accounting or finance.
*Candidate must possess 7 to 10 years combined experience in public accounting, mutual fund administration or mutual fund accounting experience, preferably within a mutual fund financial reporting group.
*Candidate must have knowledge of technical and regulatory issues affecting the mutual fund industry, including generally accepted accounting principles, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Regulation S-X.

This is a position within the Global Financial Reporting team of an investment advisor with close to $5 trillion assets under management.
As an experienced professional, this position supports a complex and fast-paced mutual fund business in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities include financial reporting oversight for approximately 325 open-end and closed-end mutual funds with approximately $400 billion of net assets.

Responsibilities:
Manage shareholder report production and annual audit process.
Review of shareholder reports including financial statements and notes to financial statements.
Manage regulatory reporting on Form N-CSR, Form N-SAR, Form N-MFP and Form N-Q.
Oversee third party fund administration and fund accounting vendors.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders including fund administrators and fund accounting agents, independent accountants, marketing, investment operations, portfolio managers and in-house and external legal counsel.
Supervise team of up to 5 professionals of various levels.
Prepare quarterly board reports related to financial reporting, regulatory filing and audit matters.

Document and communicate accounting policies for mutual funds and participate in accounting policy database process whereby accounting policies are formalized.
Analyze and communicate new and existing accounting standards, technical literature and mutual fund industry best practices to determine accounting treatment and accounting policy.

Qualifications:
*Bachelorís degree in accounting or finance.
*Advanced degree and/or CPA are preferable.
*Candidate must possess 7 to 10 years combined experience in public accounting, mutual fund administration or mutual fund accounting experience, preferably within a mutual fund financial reporting group.
*Candidate must have knowledge of technical and regulatory issues affecting the mutual fund industry, including generally accepted accounting principles, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Regulation S-X.
*Computer proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-have skills:
Advanced degree and/or CPA are preferable.
