AGRICULTURAL / CIVIL ENGINEER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Roach & Associates, LLC, is actively seeking a Professional Civil Engineer to become a part of our team.

Roach & Associates, LLC is a full-service consulting firm that has been mainly focused on the Dairy community since 1995. Roach & Associates offerings include civil and environmental engineering, planning, construction project management, and wetland delineation, and business management consulting for agricultural, commercial, and private clients. Roach & Associates is a small, but growing, team centrally located in Home of the Hamburger, Seymour, WI.

Minimum Qualifications:
• BS in Civil Engineering or similar
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3-6 years experience in the agricultural engineering field
or civil engineering
• Experience interacting with governmental agencies (such as
National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR)) and
their standards, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with project management and managing engineers
in training.

Job Description/responsibilities: A qualified candidate will analyze and design cost-effective practical solutions to protect surface and groundwater resources that meet the requirements of the county zoning ordinances, NRCS practice standards, and State administrative codes.

Day to day responsibilities include creating site plans, designing structures including wastes storage facilities, feed storage facilities, and new farms. Your day may also include site investigations, evaluations of current facilities, stormwater management, and construction management.
