Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Clinical Pharmacy Services; ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as they relate to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly.

Works collaboratively with the health care team to provide a comprehensive scope of clinical pharmacy services which help optimize medication use, enhance patient safety, and ensure effective resource management by using appropriate pharmacotherapeutic principles.

The inventory and distribution/delivery of medications may be required.


Qualifications
PharmD degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
ASHP hospital residency or it's equivalent.
Must hold a current pharmacist license in the state of Maryland.
Two to five years in pharmacy practice with two years of Clinical Pharmacist experience.
