Prepares, compounds, and dispenses prescriptions and medications for patients (Neonate, Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric) in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations for Pharmacy practice.
Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
Position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and independent judgment and decision making.
New York State Pharmacy License (or eligibility) and interest in hospital practice.
The ideal candidate has worked within a large, fast-paced hospital and/or teaching hospital/medical center environment.
Ideal Candidate Has a passion for the field of pharmacy and would like to develop a clinical practice.
They are top performers and excellent at their vocation.
Our ideal candidate would also have Residency training.
This person would be eager to share their knowledge by presenting in-service programs to colleagues and other medical staff members.
This is a Full-time 4 day on/4 day off schedule that rotates through the weekends and holidays.
The hours are 9pm - 7am.
Salary negotiable based upon experience.
Four ASHP-accredited residency programs are located at Site.
Hospital serves as a Pharmacy Practice teaching site for two area colleges.
