The Pediatric Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching for our pediatric and neonatal patients.

The Pediatric Clinical Specialist will fill orders for medications, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information for the pediatric and neonatal population.

The Pediatric Clinical Specialist will provide education for the pharmacy and nursing staff on Pediatric and Neonatal medications.

The Pediatric Clinical Specialist supervises and directs supportive staff.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)

Experience:
Minimum of two years (2) required pediatric experience, preferable in a hospital setting.

Technical Skills:
Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)

License/Certification:Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada

M-F 8 hour day shift.
Other hours as needed.
