Click Here to Apply OnlineWe are conducting a national search on behalf of our Midwestern high-tech manufacturing client, a search for an Electrical Design Engineer.
Our client company, founded in 1971, is a growth-oriented world leader in the design and manufacturing of electronic equipment used to make 32 nanometer semiconductors, implantable medical devices, missile guidance systems, aircraft landing gear, nanotechnology-based golf shafts, and much more.
This Electrical Design Engineer is needed to design, build, and assist in operations for a new design and program that is being prompted by a significant grant from the U.S. Department of Defense. Significant military applications with endless additional commercial applications. The position also involves hiring, developing, and leading the program team.
Requirements:
• 5 - 10 years experience with design, build, and operations of power supplies rated at 5,000 amps or higher.
• Demonstrated proficiency in design, build, and operations with experience and knowledge of magnetics, switch-mode power supplies, high frequency transformers, thermal modeling and power factor correction methods, highly desired. High Frequency, high power.
• Skilled in Integrated Analog Circuit Simulation programs including SPICE or Sabre
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters Degree preferred
