General Job Description:
The CNC Set Up Technician’s role is responsible for a direct, hands-on approach, in which the team is lead by example. The CNC Set Up Technician is responsible for managing the operations of the CNC Milling Department for all work shifts. Throughout this process, the CNC Set Up Technician performs the necessary operator training to ensure compliance with all quality standards, production output, OSHA safety requirements and housekeeping measures.

Minimum Qualifications:
·Five years or more of experience working as a CNC Machining Set-Up Technician
·Three years or more of manufacturing/sheet metal/welding fabrication knowledge
·Adept in writing CNC M & G code without the use of a CAM system
·Strong oral and written English language skills, with a proficiently in Microsoft Word and Excel
·Solid understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, ASME Y14.5M
·Demonstrate proven record of strong leadership skills coupled with sound decision making capabilities
·High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Technical Education in machining and manufacturing is helpful, AAS degree preferred
