Position Title: Call Center Agent
Location: Brooklyn Center, MN 55430
Salary/Commissions: Hourly Rate of up to $12.56 per hour

Reports to: Call Center Supervisor
Position Summary
Researches and resolves customer service questions, inquiries, requests and problems in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Provides a high level of customer service in accordance with policies and guidelines. Must be able to analyze every situation and determine an appropriate solution and response.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Researches and investigates each situation thoroughly to ensure information to the customer is accurate, complete and timely. Resolves routine problems and takes the necessary action to satisfy customers and internal departments.
- Takes ownership of customer concerns and strives to be the primary connection between the customer and our organization. Responds to the customer questions, inquiries, requests and problems accurately, concisely and appropriately.
- Continually portrays and projects a positive and professional image of TCF. Consistently achieves the established standards of the position.
- Has a thorough knowledge of TCF policy and procedure. Keeps informed of changes in policy, procedure and services in order to provide accurate information to customers.
- Promotes interest in TCF products and services.
- May be asked to assist customers who are unable to communicate with a Call Center Representative due to a language barrier.
Work Experience/Skills:
Required:
- 9 months experience providing customer service or in a customer contact position.
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- PC keyboarding and Internet experience needed.
- May require fluency in a foreign language.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred:
- 12+ months prior customer service experience.
- Fluent in a foreign language such as Spanish
- Working toward 2 or 4-year college degree
