National New Business/Channel Development Manager

Compensation: commensurate w/experience, base range to 200k+, plus monthly accelerators based upon new merchants’ implemented, plus exceptional benefits; annual income should run between $700k - 7 figures plus

You will be responsible for helping to establish/direct strategy and negotiating strategic channel development partnerships. This position helps to drive execution of strategy, marketing and business development. This position executes against this direction and serves as the primary driving contact between strategic partners and the company’s sales force as it uncovers opportunities within the existing customer/prospect base. You will also manage ongoing relationships with strategic business partners to ensure continued execution of joint strategy and expansion of opportunity with these partners over time.
Responsibilities:
 Work with senior Management to drive partner sales development strategies for key strategic industry sectors and therein ensure timely rollout of their solutions.
 Help to manage sales acquisition processes through channel, product and sales managers to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of our solutions.
 Support partner relationships by addressing marketing, sales support, legal, customer service, operational, and related needs.
 This position will serve as the key link between the company and our partners’ business units.
 Build a team of 2 to 3 associates over time.

EXAMPLE: Using STAPLES as a possible client who could have as many as 20,000+ suppliers. They can share in revenues generated by any deals negotiated by you with one of their suppliers. Our client will also cross-market for them put them on their website, etc.

Partner Management
• Develop win/win opportunities with identified partners to co-market and develop joint services.
• Managing on-going relationships with partners to ensure agreed programs are progressing as planned.
Continue to investigate new business opportunities with existing partners.

Sales / Marketing
• Help to identify appropriate strategic partnerships and distribution channel partners.
• Plan, execute and participate in sales calls with potential strategic partners, fully craft presentations and be capable of delivery of strategic partnering presentations at senior levels within client/partners.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
 3-5 years of diverse hands-on experience in the credit card industry
 Experience in successfully driving new payment solutions through indirect sales channels, steering product management teams to ensure the timely launch of services/products, and timely and effectively training sales team to sell the new services/products
 Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building and developing strong partner/client relationships
 Excellent planning and organizing skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and multiple projects to meet goals on schedule
 Self-starter, with a high energy level able to respond to rapid changes in the marketplace.
 Market research and product design experience desired.
 Acquisition marketing experience in credit card industry helpful
 Some legal experience with processing agreements a plus
 BS/BA Business degree preferred.

 Ability to craft/present compelling presentations to customers at senior levels.
 Ability to craft/present compelling presentations to existing and potential partners at senior levels.
 Self-motivated and skilled at self-prioritizing and efficiently moving projects forward, fully technologically savvy in the use of personal productivity technologies.
 Ability to assist in crafting pricing, revenue sharing agreements and business models surrounding initiatives
