Click Here to Apply OnlineThe Sr. Business Systems Analyst is the primary liaison between the business and IT. This person will:
Lead the business users, IT project§ teams, and external partners to drive decision making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs are being met
§ Define and negotiate project scope
Create documentation of business§ requirements which guide application development efforts, working closely with the business team, development team and quality assurance team to ensure successful implementation of business requirements
Work collaboratively§ with IT and business partners to resolve issues
Job Skills
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis of product/software development
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success
• Assess, define, negotiate and document project scope
• Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate large cross functional meetings
• Promote consensus on a high level view of the project and drill down into the details to obtain the requirements
• Perform thorough requirement interviews with project stakeholders
• Ability to document project issues, risks, assumptions and requirements
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
• Experience with system development methodologies
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure audit and corporate compliance
• Consistently deliver project status and time tracking regularly to management
• Demonstrated understanding of system design concepts
• Conduct comprehensive requirements reviews with project stakeholders, development and QA teams
Desired Skills
• Creating process flows and diagrams necessary to assist the requirements gathering process
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams
• Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project)
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently
• Ability to work in a team environment and be open to change
