We are currently seeking a Full-time:
Athletic Trainer
The Athletic Trainer will assist Brantley County High School in Nahunta, Georgia in all sports by providing basic first aid, preventive measures to reduce injuries, and treatment of athletic injuries at the schools and at the game site. Work closely with physicians and therapists in the evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries. Help athlete maintain and enhance his/her maximum performance. Serve as educator and/or resource for athlete, athlete's family, coaches, teachers, and other individuals involved in the athlete's education to assess, instruct, correct, and/or provide information about physical skills and techniques.
Requires a B.S. degree concentrated in the Sports Medicine area. Previous experience is preferred but not required. National Athletic Trainer Association certified. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups and leadership required.
