Project Manager will manage application and database development resources and work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure deliverables are met according to design requirements and within budget. The end result will be a new medical insurance system internally hosted on client/server architecture with a real-time web platform servicing Patient/Insured Members, Medical Providers and Payers across the globe.
Qualifications
* Progressive career in IT with at least 3 as a Project Manager
* Portfolio and track record of delivering multi-phased systems projects on time and on budget while maintaining effective team relationships and creative application interface solutions emphasizing usability and optimized performance.
* Extensive knowledge of ASP/.NET, HTML, SQL and interface/database design
* Understands Internet and client/server based applications and architectures
* Insurance Industry experience
Responsibilities - Project Management
* Management of project schedules, resources, quality and prioritization of multiple tasks effectively.
* Prepare project documentation: Project Plan, Project Charter, Status report, Design Assessment, Change Requests and Resource Requests.
* Take input from stakeholders and appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback on internal and ongoing process improvements.
* Understands the necessity of ongoing communication, design and project standards and applies them consistently.
* Understands the overall system components and develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.
* With Project Champions, lead multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle ensuring requirements are understood and providing coaching, motivation and inspiration.
Responsibilities - Business Analysis and Solution Definition
* Understands overall system components and organization's direction, structure, and requirements.
* Work with Business Analysts to document and analyze required information and data during stakeholder interviews and system functionality reviews.
* Work with BA/System Designers to prepare user requirements, functional specifications, business processes, and business rules and interface recommendations.
* Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies.
* Articulate knowledge of desired user experience and present interface design concepts to members of the project team.
Responsibilities - Technical Recommendation and Testing
* Extensive knowledge of ASP/.NET, HTML, SQL and interface/database design.
* Understands technical design specifications and ensures test conditions are functionally deep and well structured.
* Manage testing teams to develop and conduct accurate and complete test plans.
* Ensures system deficiencies and recommended solutions are identified, documented and actioned.
* Understands Internet and client/server based applications and architectures.
