Clinical Data Analyst I
This is technical position. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of clinical data dictionaries coding related results, which may include adverse events, drug names, disease terms, etc., for NNPI’s clinical development, registration, and marketing support programs. The scope of responsibility is based on multiple drug development programs.
Bachelor degree in science or medical related specialties, preferably nursing, required.
Two years of experience in pharmaceutical industry engaged in clinical data coding or review with progressively increasing scope of responsibility and reduced supervisory requirement.
Proficiency in the use of pertinent computer tools.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Perform necessary coding of CRF entries based on standard dictionaries. Establish routine interactive procedures with trial/project clinicians for review, discussion, and approval of coding results.
Coordinate with local and global data management function to assure the installation, update, and general maintenance of all relevant standard dictionaries. Keep abreast with national and international organizations to assure up to date knowledge of data coding practices and methods.
