Click Here to Apply OnlineCompany is seeking to hire a Civil Construction Estimator experienced in civil estimating in heavy industrial or heavy highway (working with government agencies)
Company works to build and strengthen America's infrastructure. As a specialty contractor and subcontractor, they design and build major projects across the United States. They provide a full line of benefits including 401K profit sharing, and medical insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate bids for projects involving civil (buildings and structures).
- Ensure compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes.
- Work closely with administration and marketing to prepare bid submissions.
Qualifications required:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
2. 5 + years of hard bid civil estimating experience in heavy industrial or heavy highway while in a construction company.
3. 5+ years experience working with government agencies such as Chicago Department of Transportation, or Illinois Department of Transportation while in a construction company.
4. Currently in the Midwest with Midwest experience (Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, St. Louis etc.....).
