LOCATION: Miami Florida preferred but not mandatory (May work from anywhere in the U.S.) Would not need to relocate.
EDUCATION: BS Electrical Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have 5 - 7 years of major account development experience selling network infrastructure equipment to telecommunication companies.
Prior experience in Utilities and Public Safety sectors are a plus.
Technical knowledge of back-up power generators is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability to read, write and speak both languages; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
The flexibility to travel in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America, approximately 70% of the time is required.
DUTIES: Green tech company selling hydrogen fuel cell systems as back-up power for mission critical systems across telcos, utilities and public safety is looking for an experienced Sales Electrical Engineer. The Sales Engineer will have experience selling telco infrastructure equipment in the USA. The primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Developing sales opportunities within telcos in the USA, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Leading pre- and post-sales activities .
Understanding all customer technical requirements, responding to Requests for.
Proposals, preparing the appropriate documentation and project proposals, modeling Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) business cases, and being able to explain the recommended solution.
Being able to explain the technical specs of our product relative to the competition as well as incumbent technologies.
Leading contract negotiations from a technical and business perspective.
