Safety Engineer - Construction /Safety/Refinery
Immediate need for a Field Safety Engineer for the Refinery Construction Industry a strong background in the Refinery and Energy industry to assist in implementing all safety and industrial policies and procedures, environmental protection and ergonomics for all Construction Projects.

Responsibilities:

-> To implementing policies and procedures as they pertain to all safety project requirements
-> Assist departments in developing action plans to reduce or eliminate occupational illnesses and injuries
-> Develop and implement procedures to control the hazards
-> Monitor and evaluate jobsite safety on a daily basis to identify unsafe conditions and procedures
-> Perform safety and health audits and recommend corrective actions when necessary
-> Report all jobsite activities to the Safety-Risk Manager and the Project Manager

Requirements:

-> BS Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
-> Industrial Engineering or Associate Science Degree
-> Refinery Safety Experience and a working knowledge of Federal OSHA 1910 and 1926 Standards
-> Minimum Three years experience in a safety-related position in construction, refining, petrochemical or chemical industry
-> Knowledge of all safety software, including cost tracking software (McCosker, ViewPoint)
-> Travel to and from different Job Sites as well as outside the local area depending on all required essential functions
-> Valid state-issued drivers license

• Detail your Safety Field Engineer experience in Construction, Refining, Petrochemical or the Chemical Industry?
• Being as a Safety field Engineer are you willing to perform all Job responsibilities and requirements even if this position may subject you to hazardous conditions inside and outside, including high and low temperatures, occasionally be required to wear a respirator or fall protection harness and lanyard as well as being subject occasionally to noise levels above 85-dbl and will be required to wear ear protection
