JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Global manufacturer needs hands-on professional to supervise, mentor and train maintenance personnel. Also responsible for department improvements, overall effectiveness and efficiency, cost reduction, and minimal downtime of maintenance department.
JOB DUTIES
· Supervise all activities and personnel on a swing shift.
· Interfaces with several departments plant wide including Maintenance, Quality and Production.
· Responsible for safety and housekeeping in the Department
· Schedule preventative maintenance items for all production equipment
· Maintenance and serviceability of type equipment, hub and roll equipment, and conveyors with the approval of the Department supervisor develop and implement programs that improve overall safety, efficiency and/or ware quality.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Associates or BS in related technical field (Engineering, Maintenance, etc), In lieu of degree willing to consider High School or equivalent with applicable work experience.
· Solid experience and understanding of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, assembly and secondary equipment. Also knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
