Our client is a Canadian company specialized in home decoration products that are distributed by major retail chains, such as Rona, Home Depot, Canadian tire etc. Their Engineers and Product Managers work hand in hand to develop innovative new designs and cutting-edge technologies providing customers with a high quality product at a great value.

They are seeking to hire a Marketing Manager who would be responsible for all phases of the company’s marketing activities (market analysis, marketing strategy, marketing mix, sales support, merchandising and POP).

Reporting directly to senior management, the Marketing Manager will help drive initial and incremental sales by creating and distributing, on a consistent basis, effective product and promotion-driven collateral for the sales force.

The Marketing Manager, with the help of a full graphics team, will also be the instrumental driver of:
- all merchandising programs including POP, packaging, artwork, displays, in store signage and plan-o-grams.
- launching new product lines and pioneering technologies by leveraging all the marketing tools and experience at her/his disposal.
- bringing the corporate brand to life through a range of well-planned, well-executed marketing activities, and ensuring the overall messages are consistent, clear and relevant to the target audiences.
- performing strategic segmentation analysis to identify market size, market potential and competitive landscape.
- accurately monitoring and measuring marketing initiative effectiveness for continual program improvement.

Qualifications Required:

1- University degree preferably in marketing.
2- 5 or more years of progressive experience in marketing consumer products sold in big box retail channels. Emphasis should be on products that require POS marketing efforts and not institutional advertising and branding.
3- Fluent in English and in French.
4- Valid passport.
