MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR-NORWALK, IOWA
DUTIES:
• Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for the effective management of a maintenance unit comprised of 20 - 30 hourly teammates.
• Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures necessary to achieve Corporate, Plant, Departmental and unit goals.
• Coordination of unit operation with other departmental units, producing, service, and staff departments.
• Make decisions within the scope of authority delegated by department manager and/or foreman.
• Will oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 or 2 year degree preferred.
• 7-10 years union manufacturing plant maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Experience with equipment installation and equipment repairs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and schedules.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective employee supervision skills.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
