My client is in need of two experienced Senior Database Engineers that have superior technical skills, a proven track record of success and a passion for delivering high-quality and large scale web applications on aggressive schedules. Candidates in this position, will be responsible for the following: Working with the development teams, data architects and product managers to: transform business requirements into system specifications, database schema, and code; Design, test and implement highly available and highly performing functionalities to a heavily trafficked web site along with working with DBA's to maintain development/testing/staging environments, enforce database coding standards and optimize database performance as well as to provide DBA support for code releases, production system on-call support and end-user/developer support.

Candidates MUST have 5+ years of overall SQL Server database administration in SQL (SQL 2005 version required) and “hands on” with Transact-SQL coding. Candidates MUST also have 3+ years of experience in: SSIS package / SSRS report development, and with SQL Server High Availability technologies (DB mirroring, SQL Server Replication). Candidates should have excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and communication both written and verbal. The client would prefer candidates that has experience in SQL Server 2008, OLAP/Data Warehouse with Analysis Services, XML, XML Schema, XSLT, ASP.Net and C# development to include experience developing managed procedural code in a .NET runtime environment. Candidates with a BS in Computer Science are desired.
