Click Here to Apply OnlineBiotech company seeks experienced SharePoint Solutions Lead. This role will be responsible for providing deployment expertise for a new SharePoint implementation. The SharePoint environment will support team collaboration sites, corporate intranet, document-centric collaboration, a Clinical Trial Management system, an electronic Trial Master File system, eRoom to SharePoint migration, etc. This role will provide leadership for the design of many aspects of ImClone’s SharePoint environment including governance, site hierarchy, permissions models, and standard ImClone site templates. This person will also be responsible for working with clients to capture requirements and for building and deploying resulting sites.
Responsibilities
· Provide technical and best practice leadership for a new SharePoint deployment: design site hierarchies, site templates, permissions models, etc.
· Work with ECM team and a vendor partner project team to define and establish governance of the SharePoint environment including but not limited to site provisioning and account management.
· Work with user communities to elicit requirements.
· Design, build, and deploy SharePoint sites (this is a large portion of the work.)
· Document requirements and design.
· Train site owners.
· Contribute to Enterprise Content Management & Collaboration Strategy.
· Contribute to the SP architecture design (for both internal and externally-facing sites)
Required Experience Skills
· Expert-level experience with SharePoint building blocks such as site collections, sites, lists, views, workflows, and libraries, understanding of security & audience management.
· Insight into how to best leverage out of the box functionality and to ensure that as the environment grows it remains maintainable.
· This role will work directly with user communities, so excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
· Candidate should have experience establishing governance models and insight into effective SharePoint governance.
· Experience designing and deploying SharePoint sites.
SharePoint Designer
. Proven experience with identifying when business requirements exceed the configurable limitations of SharePoint’s delivered functionality.
. Experience with design strategies that emphasize the use of SharePoint’s base functionality while minimizing the amount of modifications to site definitions.
Workflow:
. Strong understanding of the various workflow options available within the SharePoint Server environment.
. Experience with evaluating and implementing third-party workflow tools is a plus.
· Experience developing workflow, web parts and custom pages.
· ASP.NET, C#
· SP infrastructure administration is a plus as is experience with third-party tools that assist with administration and/or governance
