Job Title : Chemist - III (Senior)

Description:
Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective. The nature of the work performed by the incumbent will normally be the solution of specific aspects of complex research problems. The problems assigned are normally short range in terms of time required for solution.

Requirement:
Graduate School Synthetic Organic Chemistry required. Post Graduate Synthetic Organic Chemistry also required. The successful candidate must have a PhD in chemistry and a well established understanding of both synthetic and mechanistic organic chemistry through academic independent research or industry experience. Experience / knowledge of purification techniques such as column chromatography, HPLC, recrystallization and distillation, as well as working knowledge of analytical techniques such as NMR, MS and IR is desired.
