The Bernie Police Department now has an opening for a full time police officer. The City of Bernie is located in Southeast Missouri and has a population of approximately 2000 residents.
The Police Department has a full time dispatch center and holding facility. It employees five full time officers several reserve officers and four full time dispatchers. Officers work 12 hour shifts 42 hours a week and every other month weekends off.(Must be POST certified)
