This position is a temporary part-time position without benefits.

General Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to handle all aspects of the Women's Basketball team including help with recruiting, coaching, teaching and training and promoting good sportsmanship within the team. The coach will also be expected to work with the Athletic Director on eligibility and other matters pertaining to the team.

Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field preferred; collegiate playing experience or prior coaching experience preferred; knowledge of NJCAA and some NCAA rules preferred; valid PA driver's license; Act 33 & 34 clearance and criminal background check required.

Job Duties:
1. Recruit student athletes.
2. Drive school vehicle as needed.
3. Scout high school and college games as needed
4. Organize and hold regular team practices throughout and prior to the season.
5. Attend all games as scheduled.
6. Assist the athletic director with student eligibility requirements.
7. Inventory and collect all team uniforms/equipment.
8. Distribute and reconcile student funds.
9. Organize fundraising projects for team trips.
10. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Hours:
Fall 2009-Spring 2010

Team practice time will be determined by coaching staff but must meet the needs of the team.

Pay Rate:
College Fee-funded
$2,500 Fall Semester - $2,500 Spring Semester
