The CDD serves children throughout the state, occasionally traveling to community clinics to see children and work with families, early intervention providers, and schools. The CDD plays a crucial role in the disability field in New Mexico by providing interdisciplinary training, dissemination of information, applied research, policy development and analysis and clinical services throughout the state and addresses disability issues across the lifespan. Rank is dependent on qualifications and experience. Opportunities are available to participate in program development and for applied research.
