National Account Sales Executive
Responsible for developing new merchant account relationships through new sales of businesses that generate from $8 million to $1 billion in annual bankcard processing volume.
Service leads from Corporate, as well as other business partners, and develop new merchant business from self-source efforts.
Periodically assist in Recruiting, to ensure hiring the best people available and in building a high-performing team of sales professionals possessing complementary skills and backgrounds.
Be a team player that communicates customer requirements, coordinates resources and takes ownership for customer success.
Communicate recurring obstacles to the senior sales management.
Collaborate with product specialists and others to ensure the highest level of customer value and portfolio enhancements.
Participate in sales planning, individual performance planning, team meetings, business development activities, training, and coaching activities to support achievement of corporate goals and objectives.
Preferred Experience:
Up to 3+ years experience in a merchant services sales position dealing primarily with mid-sized and national business. Some bankcard/transaction processing sales is a plus.
Location: work remotely
Travel: as necessary, approximately 30%
Compensation (commensurate w/experience): to $95k base plus incentives; comprehensive benefits package. Realistic annual compensation...$195k + range. Position offers career growth.

Must possess:
Business degree preferred, but not a requirement based on track record.
Successful, proven sales experience
Knowledge in sales prospecting, presentation and deal-closing techniques and practices.
Contract negotiation skills
Strong business development skills
Aggressive desire to grow this business
Must have the capacity to interact well with teammates
Ability to be technically astute
Innate ability to build relationships
Proven ability to sell from a consultative value-added perspective
Self-motivated and skilled at self-prioritizing and efficiently moving projects forward, fully technologically savvy in the use of personal productivity technologies
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assertively generate new business
Establish relationships with Vendors & Value Added Resellers
Work closely with other internal departments
Attend industry trade shows
Create/present compelling presentations to customers at senior levels
High client-level entertaining
