National Account Sales Executive

Vertical markets currently exist in Retail, T&E, Grocery/Drug, Card-not-present, Pre-paid, Debit and Petroleum of the industry leader in electronic payment transactions; where emerging technologies constantly create ongoing opportunities for technical excellence and corporate competitive advantage. There are two National sales Teams…
Tier II – target merchants who processed bankcard volume is up to $125M annually, quota; $450k in annual revenue
Tier I – target national prospects from $125M up into the Billions, annual revenue quota of approximately $650k
Position Description: New customer acquisition role. Goal is to find our next customers, generate the interest level, and maneuver through the account identifying coaches, gatekeepers, influencers and decision-makers. Allocate technical support as needed. Gain access to C-Level decision makers. Present, propose, negotiate and ultimately obtain commitments. Generate leads through business prospecting (cold) calls. Develop substantive opportunity funnel (sales pipeline). Meet or exceed the foundational sales targets of position. Contribute to positive work environment through willingness to work with peer group, superiors and both internal and external customers. Complete all assigned areas of responsibility in a timely manner. Provide consultative solution selling knowledge to achieve desired corporate sales objectives.
Location: work remotely
Compensation: comprehensive benefits package. Depending upon the Team your Base will range from 70k – 92k plus commissions. Corporate objectives, annual income should conservatively range of $155k to $245k to unlimited.
o Bankcard sales, financial and/or consultative selling, products/services into the national retail, direct, card-not-present and/or T&E industry sales experience preferred.
o Bankcard sales (credit card processing) strongly preferred.
o Successful and documented experience calling on large corporate accounts a huge plus.
o Prospective client base comprised of retail merchants, card not present, catalogers, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, restaurants, gaming, auto rental agencies, etc.
Must possess:
o Successful proven sales experience
o Ability to articulate a thorough understanding of the sales process.
o Contract negotiation skills and abilities to communicate with the C-Level decision maker.
o Strong business development skills with the discipline and structure to routinely prospect by telephone.
o Desire to operate autonomously and to accept accountability for results.
o Ability to properly allocate technical and support resources throughout the sales cycle.
o Strong “questioning” ability to uncover critical business issues
o Integrity that delivers “post-sale” what was articulated in the “pre-sale.”
o Ability to correctly forecast and define probability of pipeline.
