The NY-based company services 15,000+ merchants across the country and employs 110+ sales, support and technical staff in its head office as well as in offices in Colorado and Minnesota. They service primarily small to mid size merchants through a network of 250+ Sales Representatives, Independent Agents and Sales Offices across the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. In this strategic and visible role, our client wants a hard-charging individual to grow an existing ISO portfolio. The ideal candidate has successfully grown the merchant portfolio of at least one mid-size ISO. You will be helping to build out their existing 15,000+ merchant portfolio.

• Ideally, you are currently working successfully within the payments processing industry with an ISO and your success is verifiable.
• Responsible for aggressively pursuing new relationship opportunities with 3rd party resellers (ISO/ISA) and association/franchise partnerships.
• Ideal candidate has a pipeline/rolodex that can produce 100+ new merchants within 60-90 days and grow into producing an additional 25+ new merchant accounts monthly
• Acquire new ISA relationships utilizing industry publications, tradeshows and various lead sources.
• You must be a highly motivated, self-starting professional, impact player


Location: remotely

Compensation: commensurate with experience…salary and % of revenue is very flexible and based upon how quickly you want the % of revenues to increase. Ideally, a candidate that wants to build their own book - is preferred. Examples: a $50k salary + 5% of revenues cumulatively and full benefits; 1st year at plan can w2 at $125k, 2nd year to $175k; Another comp plan is modeled after a recruiter that gets paid a little less + expenses and after 5 years is grossing over $800k.

Primary objective:
• Establish new associations/partnerships with ISO/ISA/VAR’s on a national basis.
• Help to build the merchant portfolio with profitable, long-term accounts.
• Work closely with other internal departments
• Attend industry trade shows when appropriate
• Establish relationships with vendors and any other prospective referral sources

Preferred attributes:
• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years in the acquiring business
• Proven sales history of direct sales and recruiting ISO/ISA and associations
• Successful sales and/or marketing experience
• Highly organized, detailed and goal-oriented
• Strong business development and interpersonal skills
• Desire to grow this business
• Ability to work well with others, and in a very fast-paced environment.
