Click Here to Apply OnlineRESPONSIBILITIES: The Engagement Manager (EM) / Senior Engagement Manager (SEM) is responsible for all client interfaces within the scope of a large account or a portfolio of accounts. The EM / SEM works together with his manager (Group EM) to build a business plan and is responsible for client management based on the account plan. The jobholder has the following key responsibilities within the assigned account scope:
• Client Relationship
o Participate in Steering Committees and Client Relationship Reviews with senior client executives
• Business Development
o Responsible for preparing a business plan for the entire portfolio ranging from $ 5 to 40 million. This would include existing accounts and net new accounts.
o Responsible for building a portfolio of $ 5 – 40 million - driving revenues within the assigned portfolio of account(s) by being the owner of the entire Opportunity Management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
o Conduct research as well as competitor analysis, as well as conducting client presentations, estimation efforts and proposals and negotiations
o Taking Go-to-market solutions to accounts within the account scope
o Work closely with the Solutions Leader to build customized solutions pitches for the target account and driving the revenues and delivery of these solutions to the account scope
o Pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement
o Provide necessary input for building future alliances with relevant product vendors
• Client delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 10 years experience, with strong account management experience. Track record as Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship highly desirable
• Significant depth of consulting, Project / Program Management or pre-sales / sales experience required in SAP suite of package applications. Ability to leverage experience in one of these suites across multiple package offerings that may be part of the ES services offerings in the given portfolio of accounts
• Must have 8-15+ years consulting / sales / account management experience with large consulting organizations or combined with industry experience. Experience in Life Sciences industry would be strongly preferred
• Experience managing teams of up to 50 people and working with teams across multiple locations
• Outsourcing industry experience necessary. Global Delivery Model experience desirable
• Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions a plus
• Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers a plus
• Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXO level client contacts
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations. Sufficient understanding of estimating models to be able to guide and challenge the proposal creation team in order to come up with winning proposals
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• Up to 100% travel may be required
