REQUIRED: Environmental planners not urban planners
1. (residential/commercial real estate planners or city planners do us no good).
2. REQUIRED: At least a BS in planning is preferred (can be urban planning because I don't know how many schools offer a degree in environmental planning).
3. REQUIRED: 10+ year solid experience in NEPA, CEQA, MNDs, EIRs, EAs, etc…..specifically related to Energy projects is preferred. Definitely, SOLID writing experience for these type of documents. We will be asking for multiple writing examples when they come to interview. We need a person with great writing skills and overall good communication skills. A star-performer.
4. REQUIRED: Salary around 75K, although depending on experience that is negotiable.
5. PREFERRED: Environmental planning work in California.
6. PREFERRED: Member of Association of Environmental Planners
