Acclaim Hospice is committed to providing the best physical, emotional and spiritual care to our patients with life limiting illnesses. We provide care to our patients in their private homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities all over the Dayton and Springfield areas. An important part of that care comes from dedicated and caring volunteers. As a volunteer you can choose how and where you will serve and our training classes are very flexible to meet your busy schedule.

Acclaim Hospice Volunteers…

•Provide support, comfort and friendship to patients and their families
•Can work directly with our patients or in other support roles (office work, bereavement, special events, etc)
•Are caring, committed, and responsible
•Receive comprehensive hospice volunteer training
•Submit to and pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB test
