Application and IT Outsourcing Originators are responsible for working with existing Account teams to initiate, qualify and support the capture of AO/IO opportunities that are profitable to us and have a compelling value proposition to the client. Originators focus on early stage positioning with clients for AO/IO opportunities in the $20-$100+ million range or smaller break-through opportunities with significant long-term upside.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with the Client Senior Executive, Client Service Group Lead and Operating Unit Outsourcing Sales Lead in developing and executing the AO/IO origination strategy
• Develops the origination approach for a particular CSG, or sub-set of a CSG, and tracks progress over time. Helps develop and maintain AO/IO sales collateral specific to supported industry(s).
• Identifies and qualifies specific AO/IO opportunities and effectively transitions the opportunities to capture teams. Personally develops and sustains client executive relationships through personal meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social gatherings
• Supports/participates in activities throughout the sales process, as appropriate and verifies that our proposition meets the client's needs and values. Provides general AO/IO support for Account teams, including basic AO/IO education and coaching, sales/strategy support, linkage into the broader AO/IO organization and access to current sales collateral and competitive information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of selling/business development experience and proven track record against multiple million dollar sales targets
• 7+ years of experience in selling large scale services to Fortune 100 HC firms
• 7+ years of experience working with/understanding of the Healthcare Industry
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management
• Outsourcing and/or large complex sales management and business development experience
• Proven experience working in the executive suite
• Experience with Civilian and HC Payer and Provider.
