This is skilled work at the journeyman level plumber or equivalent combination of training and experience in new plumbing installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing facilities according to established trade practices. Performs preventive maintenance of equipment and performs building checks. Inspects, repairs and/or replaces plumbing fixtures to assure proper working condition and maintains records of work performed. Assists outside contractors. Performs other duties as assigned. Employee will be on 24 hour call for emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance of buildings.

High School Diploma/GED. Considerable experience in the related area supplemented by course work which provides the necessary skills and knowledge as a journeyman level plumber. Valid Kansas driver’s license and must maintain an insurable driving record. All applicants will be subject to Motor Vehicle Check and Criminal History. Journeyman card must be presented at time of application.
