General Description:
This individual is required to perform all aspects associated with the manufacturing of tube product lines. Overall product quality within the cell is the responsibility of the operator. Working jointly with Production Control, they must meet all delivery requirements of product as it flows through the tube cell to the shipment of the product to the customer. All work must be performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
·High school diploma and technical school education required, Journeyman certification is a plus
·One year or more of manufacturing in a sheet metal and weld fabrication environment is required
·Inspection and part measurement ability using open plate techniques is required
·Solid shop math skill set with an emphasis on geometry and trigonometry is required
·Previous experience with the operation of tube bending equipment is a plus
Specific Duties:
1.Run tubing bending machines and other manufacturing equipment to produce parts that meet customer quality specifications
2.Overall product quality within the cell.
3.Continual process improvement measures that generate cost reductions and improve product qualityHuman Resources Department
