The Wellington at Arapaho is a beautiful independent living and assisted living retirement community conveniently located in Richardson, TX.

We have an opening for an Assisted Living Manager to oversee the assisted living portion of the community. This is a type "B" community.

The Assisted Living manager is responsible for overseeing the care staff and ensuring that we provide the best possible care for our residents. The Assisted Living manager will be responsible for ensuring proper care is given to our residents by conducting training, case management, providing basic nursing oversight, overseeing medication supervision and proper medication administration. The Assisted Living manager will also ensure that timely and proper communication is given to family members of our residents.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a current Texas LVN license and one or more years' experience working within Assisted Living or Memory Care setting. Prior management experience and professional communication skills are also necessary. Lastly, the candidate must be a self starter with good follow-up and multi-tasking skills. The ability to be on call and work weekends and holidays is also necessary.
