Key responsibilities include:

Directly supervise or coordinate the work of others on a small/medium sized team
• Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Develop detailed work plans, direct project teams, deliver status, and manage to budget
• Coach junior team members and foster an active learning environment. Provide advice on procedures/work methods to colleagues
• Exhibit working knowledge of familiar shared services functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training, and practical insight into unfamiliar functional areas
• Be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-versed in finance and accounting terms, latest industry trends, and applicable external factors
• Participate in shared services business development activities
• Provide leading practice finance and accounting transaction processing analysis and design knowledge
• Develop governance and services management framework
• Understand Regulatory Compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley, IFS, Basel II
• Guide team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience
• Ability to meet travel requirements, 80 to 100%


Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience in Finance and accounting back-office operations, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset management, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, etc.
• 5+ year experience around moving decentralized finance and accounting operations to shared services
• 2+ years Design, development and implementation of at least 2 complete life cycle finance and accounting shared services centers in the role of team lead over one or more of the work streams, or as a hands-on project manager
• 4+ years working within an ERP environment
• Minimum of 2 years of managing financial process projects


Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CFA, CA, MBA, CMA or experience as an accountant
• Direct experience in creating business change using ERP Financials
• ERP Financials configuration, conversion or detailed process design
