Our client, a dynamic software company, is looking for a Software Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract.


Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible for all aspects of software applications for avionics, automotive and other industries

-Participate in complete SDLC, including: project planning, determining requirements and design, software development/coding

-Working closely with members of the development and QA team

-Candidates must work independently, show initiative and manage project deadlines



Job Requirements:

-3-8 years experience working with C/C++

-Experience working with X11 software system/network protocol is a must

-Experience working with embedded operating systems – QNX, VxWorks and/or Integrity – is preferred

-Experience with Linux is a must

-Experience working with Real-Time applications is a must

-Knowledge of 3D graphics technology is an asset

- Experience in 2D / 3D graphics, DirectX, OpenGL, Audio, Video, or Game Software Development is an asset

-Strong communication skills are a must

-Master’s Degree in Information Technology preferred but not requirement

-Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology is required
