The Risk Administrator will assist in administering programs to protect the assets, earnings and opportunities of the company. It will support the evaluation of risk exposures and the implementation of mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance or Accounting
- An ARM is a plus
- 6-8 years of work experience; 3-5 in Risk Management or property/casualty insurance
- Retail and/or manufacturing experience in risk identification, analysis and mitigation techniques required
- Experience with commercial insurance and captive insurance operations desired
- Insurance underwriting experience desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to quickly and effectively transition from one task to another, demonstrated flexibility.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages.
- Ability to work effectively with various areas of the organization to accomplish objectives

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage special analytical risk management assignments, including compilation, review and analysis of underwriting data needed for various insurance renewals including: GL, auto, property, foreign, fidelity, excess liability, excess workers comp and fiduciary.
- Responsible for reviewing vendor contracts and leases for compliance with insurance requirements and answering basic questions from business units, legal department, external sources, etc. on questions/issues related to insurance issues or claims.
- Responsible for identifying and documenting exposures handled through the company's captive insurance companies; includes underwriting, invoicing policy holders, responding to audit requests, forwarding the financials and relevant information to the appropriate parties, etc.
- Manage security/collateral requirements for surety bonds, self-insurance and fronted programs, maintain Bond-Link and provide the interface between requestors and third party provider.
- Responsible for interfacing with the appropriate internal and external organizations to update the TCOR (Total Cost of Risk) worksheets and distribute as required.
- Responsible for assuring Certificates of Insurance, auto ID cards, etc. are issued, coordinating with Brokers when issues arise and continually reviewing for accuracy and need.
- Maintain all policy files, including invoices, etc.
- Assist with various department projects as assigned.
